Hi! We have a client who is pregnant with her first child. She is in her second trimester. As a new mom, she is extra cautious and wants to do one-on-one classes until the baby is born. I know all the pregnancy modifications we are given, but I'd love to hear some extra cues/tips from moms who did PB throughout their pregnancy. Also- I have never had a baby, so the more tips and details, the better! Thanks in advance!
I had a client tell me the other day that she thinks she got pelvic floor dysfunction from doing pure barre !? She had been to the dr and she was having trouble emptying her bladder and the dr said it was because she has been using her core muscles too much and not stretching them out enough. She wanted my to pass this along to the higher ups and see if we could get some more relaxing and stretching of the core and not just bringing it in tight ? She has been advised not to bear down at all
. Has anybody else ever heard of this . Suggestions. ????
I'm teaching a breaking down the barre class next week as we have a lot of new clients and also we have started teaching P2. Does anyone have any hints or tips on how they do them? I would specifically like to go slowly through some of the P2 as I think some of my clients are having a hard time with waterski etc. also I'd like to try and get them to focus on flat back as people still have problems with that ! Thanks guys
Hello! We have 2 packed classes tomorrow and are doing the 80s playlist. Our studio is new but most the clients tomorrow are ones who are "getting it". Looking for a nice grueling thigh and seat P1 combo - always love a fresh take. Thanks in advance!
